Do you have any sources on that? I have family in the hotel industry and anecdotally the entire industry in my area took a nose dive in the last recession. Not quite the same as general demand for travel but it's more relevant to how A

Have you been making a (literal) apples to apples comparison though? I find that farmer's markets in my area (Seattle) can be cheaper than Whole Foods for organic locally sourced things in season but definitely more expensive than goin

I think it's that the goal posts have shifted, i.e. distribution used to be the bottleneck for alot of people but now that it's easy (for internet businesses) there's a new bottleneck. There's so much stuff on the intern
