I don't want to misjudge you but the question kind of suggests that no answer will truly satisfy. I mean like you could ask did your eyeball rest upon each word? Did your brain decode the meaning of every word? I don't know. I rea

I think the desire to understand the meaning of everything immediately defeats a lot of readers. If you're willing to read it more like a poem - to just experience it and only understand some portion of what's going on then it is

A piece of fatalistic Irish wisdom may help you here: if it's for you it won't pass you by. Or go to Lefty's and say that Ken sent you.

The aging population in this case are literally offering him free childcare. Bit of quid pro quo wouldn't hurt?

That sounds kind of like what every government dreams of - an institution you fund that does important scientific work and also generates a thriving ecosystem of private sector companies? If that's a scam then please take the shirt off

I object more concretely to the word "simply". Everyone who has some sort of agenda and doesn't actually read stuff starts with the word "simply". I'm tired of "simply" - meaning "listen to me an

Of course we (the West from my POV) are conducting propaganda. That's war. However at the present level our propaganda is more to do with emphasis and exaggeration. I think the truth is the Russians are not doing great and we're e

I'm really surprised at this take on this case. Depp is a terrible figurehead to choose for such a cause. I've never felt oppressed as a male so I can't really comment on the more general aspect of your view.
