It's also different price models. Google plans to make more money on the things you do with your Home mini. Apple has to price total cost for product since they are less likely to make money after the purchase.

I hope they'll bail us out when it comes back to the US due to the lack of vaccinations. -In no way meant to belittle what they did. I think what they do is awesome. Just being sarcastic about vaccinations in the US.

No. Profit is given, not taken.

You are mistaken. We as a society have agreed to pay taxes for certain things. As defined in the constitution, some are the post office and raising a military. We pay taxes and expect to get X in return. Your argument is comparable to sa

I'm not sure why this is being down voted as this is a matter of opinion - an opinion that many agree with. In fact, in the US there is nothing in the constitution that supports the taxation of the people for these programs. I'm a

The thing that frustrates me the most about what they're doing in the area is that their public transportation is still terrible. Try taking the Metro from Vienna to Springfield. You have to get almost entirely into DC, then change li

Exactly, which in turn burdens all the other roadways such as 29 and 50.

The public transportation in that area is a joke. It's embarrassing that the metro is the subway for our nation's capital.

I grew up with the sound barrier for 66 in my back yard and lived in the area for 30 years. It was absolutely completely open and then a single lane HOV and then HOV at certain hours in certain directions and now the express lane toll.

Greenway is past dulles. Not 66 inside the beltway. You're thinking of the extension on the dulles roll road just past dulles which runs to Leesburg.

by sbjustin 9y ago
It wasn't always HOV only. It became one lane HOV, then all lanes at certain hours and now the fees are through the roof.

It wasn't always HOV only. It is a road, paid for by taxes which used to be open for all. Then it became one lane HOV, then all lanes at certain hours and now the fees are through the roof.

by sbjustin 9y ago
You may not be from the area but I used to live there and moved about 3 years ago. The bigger issue is that these people have paid taxes for years to pay for these roads which already exist and are now being told they can't use the roa

Yeah. It's pretty amazing the speeds at which kids learn but seem to "even" up as they get older. My son is doing this completely different than my daughter. At 3, I can barely get my daughter to eat and my son at 7 months

We used to let our 3 y/o watch youtube. She learned lots of things from there which was amazing. Colors, Numbers, the alphabet; all by the time she was 2. I'm not a teacher by any means so it was awesome to see this happen. Then

I'm not sure how this is even a real problem. Try a different neighborhood. I've never had a problem finding a house to buy and I've never heard anyone say that's an issue. Everything has a price, I guarantee one of th
