Users are finicky (I am) :) That adds more work to it.
- agotterer 10y agoYet plenty of successful companies do the equivalent with SMS codes during registration or account verification. It's not unreasonable that during a password reset you have to put in a few characters of extra work. If you're too lazy to type a few extra characters the account clearly isn't all that valuable to you.
