It's the collision avoidance braking when parking in close quarters. It applies the brakes automatically when you are within about 6 inches of an obstacle and moving towards it. Often false-fires when parallel parking in tight quarters

or instead of rapping, just a buzzer or something to vibrate the pins while holding them very lightly bound. Just because you can't pick at the pins doesn't mean you can't move them.
