I am both in vendor position, and client position. Generally SLAs get tracked or brought up when project is not going well; so it is mostly reactive and not proactive.

Pople don't like change; there is a reason why Amazon or Ebay look the same for all these years, despite all their UI/UX shortfalls. That said, anything closer to VS Code will likely be perceived well.

I am going to go with https://github.com/unoplatform/uno (cross-platform UI for anything from Linux/Windows/Mac on desktop, iOS/Android, or Web. Kind of like Flutter, just for C# devs.
