I realize this is mostly focused on XG-PON, but I’m curious if this is as much of an issue with WDM-PON that’s in use by some providers (Google Fiber is one, I think).

Supervised mode comes courtesy of Apple Configurator (free). MDM comes courtesy of Jamf Now (also free for three devices, for now). The combination of the two should be sufficient.

For those looking at using this at home with their family, I think it’s possible with a little effort. Jamfnow is free for three devices, and you can use Apple Configurator to setup the iPad in supervised mode. I haven’t tried multiple prof

Your comment seems a bit tangential to the central point of this article which is more about poorly governed sharing permissions in SharePoint. For what it’s worth, Microsoft does have support for customer keys at their E5 licensing level:

I would think the analogy is more akin to Netflix vs owning a copy of a movie. In many cases, consumers have a choice. They can spend a bit more and always have access to a copy of a movie that they own or they could hope that it’s availabl

For me, the “https” in the Netscape URL is sort of an anachronism. I mean, yes, technically it was available in Netscape in 1999, but very few sites used it (even among e-commerce sites). I remember the first ProLiant server we flipped to s
