Like with OP you are making a lot of assumptions about consensus. Things that don't have one: intellectual property is not an oxymoron, we need to incent people to create content, right to monetize has to include strict technical limit

To be fair I don't think they are trying to make Pixel world-wide popular. If they did, they would sell it to more places (can't buy it here in Slovenia).

Yes and I am sure all these airlines know this too and yet they are grounding them even though it costs them real money. It seems these airlines are less comfortable with the kind of cracks they noticed or the speed of their growth, but may

I'm not the author of the article, but I sometimes use the same approach because in my experience saying 5 people out of 100 does not have the same effect as 1 in 20 even though mathematically they are same. It provides a mental check

There are interesting bits in this article, but on the whole it is not well written and clearly slanted. For example, section about Guardian's reporting on Corbyn has 8 long paragraphs about other media reports like it has any bearing

Failed in what sense and judged by whom? Speaking from central-European perspective I find that translations to other languages are generally valued at home, but I have not noticed any supremacy of English and English speaking countries.

The limit doesn't have to be at the point where motor stops being louder. They only have to cover the range where all car induced noise is too quiet and only to extent necessary to mitigate this for EVs.

If you don't even realize that you are drinking polluted water, is it actually to the detriment of consumers? I know this is not the same thing, but my example is meant to highlight the logical fallacy. As to your second question, I en

Look mate, as a fellow Slav from Slovenia I can assure you all our common ancestors stumbled here way too late to have anything to do with Etruscans. And then there are also excellent arguments made in other comments.

I think most people want to know why they are being fired and they deserve that information communicated delicately. Some might want to know who fired them when it is not obvious, but few would actually benefit from knowing this.

I keep seeing this emphasis on "unsuccessful" and while I understand why that should lead to less severe _potential_ sentence, I fail to understand why it should be important to establish if it was a crime. Same goes for motive.
