I don't agree regarding your flip phone comment, that's silly. I don't use any form of Google Play Services (No OpenGapps or MicroG even) and my phone works completely fine. The only thing that doesn't work is push notif

I use GraphineOS and LineageOS without Google Play Services. They are great and are suitable replacements for Apple and Google. - Osmand(FOSS) for maps (supports being fully offline!) - Signal and Discord for messaging (Discord is sandboxed

I'm the same way, but I finally gave in and tried Apollo. It's really well made and unrestricting. Would highly recommend it, even though I no longer need it, as I've switched to a freedom respecting distribution of Android.

I have long been a big time contributor to the World of Warcraft scene. I've contributed to MaNGOS, I was a developer for a big server project - that I can't mention here :) -, a best friend of mine developed the most popular WoW

Not a thing, though I didn't benchmark! Only stupid thing is you can't run iOS apps while SIP is disabled, and re-enabling SIP turns swap back on. iOS apps aren't something I care about so it doesn't really affect me.

I had this exact issue and had to disable SIP to disable swap because I was swapping over 2TB a day. Everyone I chatted to online about it jumped over themselves to tell me I was an idiot, and I somehow needed to swap even though I have 16g

So WSB's Discord guild gets banned for racism right as this entire fiasco is going on, yet the r/conservative Discord guild has had direct racism in it involving hundreds of users and moderator participation and that server is not

I agree there is room for private businesses to operate under the umbrella of regulation. However, the USPS is designed to operate in circumstances where huge losses are inevitable (like shipping to remote towns always at a loss). We alread

It's not a conspiracy. Fox news has been running content for years characterizing USPS as a mismanaged business that needs to be privatized.

The postal service is a basic service provided to citizens by the government. It does not need to make a profit, and thinking about it in that sense is absurd. Does it make sense to talk about Medicare turning a profit? Does NASA, the milit

I think it's the opposite, by design. This administration installed a loyalist (with extreme conflicts of interest) to de-legitimize the postal service prior to the election, which will largely be held by mail.
