Recently a number of actions by FTC and CFPB have been taken due to false claims of job placement or success, especially when tied to financing options. If a college makes a claim like this that is patently false it’s worth sending to them.

This isn't a generational shift so much as VCs showing their hand. It's strange the article saw this as some magnanimous transfer of power rather than folks getting out of the market because it's not as rigged in their favor

Only if bagholders convince others that this is true. It's a sales and stability pitch at this point just like fiat currency. Not sure why it's a good long-term store. It requires electricity to exist.

I would totally welcome good and adjustable on-console AIs to play massive online battles alone or with a couple of friends rather than playing against actual humans, tbh.

Wouldn't a general purpose 3d AI learn just as quickly about those issues in the real world as they do in-game issues? Video game physics can also be made more difficult - it's not a stretch to think about a reality simulator that

All of them. It’s no coincidence Facebook is leading the charge to regulate social media, AI, and other technology usage. Regulation is a nice “free”* moat once you’ve made it. *lobbying costs aside

I couldn’t tell if this was because of the stable revenue stream or because they care about changing things. Not sure Palantir is the best example here as they probably need a competitor already. Palantir was also funded by the intelligence

They would not have been able to change it, since the podcast client was reliant on the standard of distribution which was open. I wouldn't attribute this to Apple "letting" it happen. They would've had to invest million

Worked at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for awhile. We encountered a lot of these cases and there are a ton of dark patterns as well as just straight-up not honoring the 300 page contracts that they had written. For the most part
