If you scroll down, there's a transcript made by MTurkers. (It's Friday, so you get snark-free. Well, aside from this parenthetical.)

Just make sure that you're aware of the signal if you're at a VC sponsored space. If Polaris passes on you when you're raising money, it can be exceptionally hard to raise money. Even if you get one hot and bothered, other VCs will think

Take a look at the implied CPMs. They're insanely high - much higher than any large advertiser working with their sales force would be paying.

I hope they sell, if only so that I don't have to give yet another service my e-mail address and password. I mean, they use Facebook Connect, but then they want me to also give them an e-mail address and password. So goddamn irritating.

I disagree. The point is to get an insight into the subject. The last question and the way that Jeff concludes the interview is very helpful there.

You know, I feel a little bad for the Etherpads. They were gonna go off and work on a totally new project as big shots and now they have to spend time supporting a software product that they've already EOL'd.

By far the best thing about moving to Massachusetts for oneforty was the fact that I knew I could get reasonably priced health insurance that wasn't subject to recission through the Massachusetts exchange. (Of course oneforty isn't buying

Agreed on a better 409A post-funding. But for a pre-funding valuation number for employees 1-5, $7K is difficult, especially when the valuation of the company is likely to be south of $250K.

by sachinag 17y ago
This might be true. However, getting a 409a valuation done costs only a few hundred these days. Just Google for it and you'll see a bunch of ads.

Even with pre-population, I would have to give them an e-mail address and create a new password. Sorry, I'm not joining until my friends make me. And given that I'm just barely still in my 20s, not bloody likely.

This is why I was happy they jacked up the parking rates in Chicago - they now roughly match the actual value of the spaces for a given moment in time. I hope they do so in Boston now that I live here (technically Somerville). Here's Felix

Cadillac tried to compete with Lexus and Infiniti by lowering prices. Sales nosedived as the price reduction was seen as confirmation that Lexus and Infiniti made better cars. Again, I've heard the story a number of times, but I can't prov

We already have rather high mobility - it's just to countries that aren't as attractive (non-G20 countries). Even then, if you have a college degree, it's relatively trivial to get into a number of them (Canada being top of mind).
