Good that you did that! But for most locations that is not done. See the last NRW elections where it was later discovered that votes of the voldemord party have been zeroed in many locations. Or the endless stories of tampered mail votes. I

But the fraud in paper voting happens at another place - often when the results are transmitted to a centralized place.

Barely, if at all. Not all benchmarks have been done with all exploit mitigations we have today. Also AMD is cheaper per performance.

I think it was severely misunderstood what I wrote. When I wrote "2D engine" I meant the drawing code.

Yes! That was more or less my point. But since we're all confused anyways: Do you have an example for a real 2D game engine? with "game structure" as you call it.

I'm so confused about the heat. The idea that 2D engines are orders of magnitude less complex than 3D engines is ubiquitous and frequently stated by many reputable game devs. Complex game engines will obviously have more complex code.

Not sure we're talking about the same thing then. SDL, glfw, SFML, Monogame.. I don't think any of them contain physics code.

That depends on the engine. The big guys do. But the pure 2D engines do not. And again the point I was trying to make was about graphics. Most if not all do not roll out their own code for input management, window creation, Networking and s

Sure there's a place for these engines. They abstract away graphics layers and bring convenience. But if you are a (semi-?) professional game dev, that's not a major hurdle. I have a toy game in play around in my free time and sta

I think the biggest reason for the custom code in the small teams is that they make 2D games. A 2D engine barely deserves the name and it's usually more hassle adapt to a 3rd party engine and its limitations than just write it yourself

This is such a popcorn-heavy story. I can recommend Reddit (for example [0]) for juicy details. Code was leaked by a Valve employee. Also there are enormous chatlogs with that guy who spills the beans on all kinds of stuff. [0]: https:

Eh budget comparisons can be used to justify everything. Fact is $400M annually is a fuckton of money and the vast amount of tax payers would agree. Also it's not like the US is seeing any kind of benefit from it.

The cluster thing is obviously hard to remove. But the population.. that should be very doable. You'll just have to adjust the people you chose according to the general population. Not sure exactly how that goes down in practice. But i

But the Munich study is still several weeks away. Which is frustrating. If the sky is falling like everyone is saying, intermediate results could be published daily. It's really not a difficult study to take such a test.
