See, this is why I can never believe anyone when they try to justify executive level compensation. They always say it's cause the executives are "taking risk" and "responsible for the company." And when things are g

But with a Mac, if I find I don't like the OS X ecosystem, I can always install Windows and be done. I get to enjoy my laptop and the ecosystem I want. I can't do the opposite with a Surface.

The thing is, the venues get part of that fee. So they're not going to be interested in working with anybody who would get rid of that fee.

"Not go to the subs that have such speech" That's not a feasible solution because sooner or later, almost EVERY sub gets infected with that filth.

No, I don't believe that is an acceptable solution to the problem. Especially from Reddit's point of view, where they want users to stay and therefore generate revenue.

Again, the user does not care. The user sees blatant racism and sexism being tolerated, and in some cases celebrated, think the place is full of that, and leaves, never to return again. You don't see how this is a problem for Reddit?

It absolutely can. But now you're dividing your time between what you're trying to innovate in, and doing boilerplate stuff that has already been solved and set up for you. There are only so many hours in the day.
