I would contend that those equations are a bit more nuanced than you give credit. Let's say I hypothetically give you that the Customer sees ad tracking as "bad" (whatever that means ...let's just accept it for argument.

Not sure why you're getting down-voted - if the market is set up to incentivize a certain behavior, then someone will do it eventually. People can get mad all they want, but they should be furious that the government has laws in place

This is probably nitpicky, but I'm not sure I buy this idea that "advertising profits" are "evil" - last I checked I happily use a Facebook account and all its features, built by extremely hard-working and intellige

My brother had a similar experience, albeit probably outside the target demo. When he was ~15/16, he hit a point where his grades fell hard in high school, and was very close to dropping out. I noticed he was big into Call of Duty game

I was just going to bring this up - $45 BILLION just sounds wild. Funny scenario: If Microsoft bought Yahoo, that would've ALSO been on this list for consideration as the biggest mistake for a big company.

Is this a fair analysis, though? It's not like Apple or Samsung had monopolies that they leveraged to their advantage to drive mobile share. Unless this is a subtle commentary on Google's use of their search monopolistic power to

This is actually where I'm worried Apple is falling behind, _because_ they are a bit private & come late to to the table. Microsoft, Google, and others very openly share and learn from the AI community, but Apple has been known to

1) I always recommend to my friends to give Cortana more than a 5 second consideration - especially if they're Windows users. Since Cortana primarily uses Bing, there's always a hesitation - but it's surprisingly fun and an e

Shouldn't this data be a validation of Facebook's/Instagram's/Snapchat's growth model? Maybe you _need_ to iterate and change up the game a bit if you're to continue growing, expanding into new markets, et

It seems like a lot of folks don't give Tim Cook enough credit in the post-Steve Jobs world for a lot of the philanthropic work Apple has done for education (as well as for the LGBTQ community.) Kudos to them for this initiative - and
