But the thing is there is still a trading economy in the game. It will still exist, it's now just unofficial. In diablo 2 you traded items by joining chat rooms and spamming your wares or joining message boards. You then traded by arra

Not necessarily, putting business logic in the models as opposed to service classes is a recipe for disaster in any decent sized application. People are realizing this, even in the rails community, and are moving away from it. Putting busin

Is there actually a published, peer-reviewed study available from this? This just seems like an in-progress summary. Additionally, as another poster commented, this is still correlative, not causative. HFCS might be indirectly responsible f

There currently is no good evidence to suggest that one is worse than the other; either they are both inert or they are both evil. The difference between them is too small to matter in moderate consumption, and in excess both are harmful to

The first study is correlative, not causative. The second and third studies are a bit too specific. Can you break this down into a list of effects on every day people? I think this quote sums it up best: "Gluten intolerance is one of the mo

I know that benchmarks are damned lies, but I'm honestly surprised it's this close. Dart isn't even at 1.0 yet, and the JVM is almost 20 years old with millions (billions?) of dollars into optimizing it. And to top it all off, the dart vm t

There is nothing wrong with butter, oil, or dressing in moderation. If it makes a rather boring dish more interesting, it's worth it - none of those things up the calorie count too much.

No it couldn't. asm.js has no garbage collector. The only way to get dart running on asm.js would be to port the entire VM to asm.js, which afiak won't work since the dart JIT emits machine code at runtime.

Getting a dart VM implemented in browsers is a bonus, not the end goal. The fact that dart2js is being improved should indicate this. Dart isn't "yet another" compile-to-js solution. It's the most fully fledged one. Coffeescript is just a l
