Without any arbitration mechanism this kind of escrow seems fairly useless. The buyer always loses to a malicious seller who is now able to keep the funds locked up forever. Oracles can’t really be trustless.

How does zero-trust escrow work? Seems like this would have a very limited set of applications without an external source of truth.

One of my favourite things about living in London is that you don’t have to live in constant fear of the tow truck. The city of westminster does not remove vehicles for parking violations. https://www.westminster.gov.uk/park

UK specific article. Anyone who has worked with payment processing can tell you how rare debit card chargebacks are, this is because they’re usually vastly more difficult.

It is not unreasonable to speak of Europe as a whole. Credit card transactions are common where I live, but not in most of Europe.

Hard to prove a negative. It’s not like this is prevalent enough that there’d be large scale testing of weed going on.

It is scaremongering. Synthetic cannabinoids are commonly sold, but they are not commonly sold as cannabis as berndi suggests.

This is utter nonsense scaremongering. Synthetic cannabinoid products exist, but they’re not commonly sold as anything but synthetic cannabinoids.

2008 was 13 years ago. The past 13 years in the UAE have been nothing like even the past 30 years in the west. The difference between now and 2008 is incomprehensible, it’s simply not the same country. In the past week I’ve visited a gay ba

Oddly enough nobody is bringing up gitmo or police murders in response to all the comments recommending the US. At least nobody gets shot for being black in the UAE. Even prisoners are treated well here and not used as slave labor like in t
