Automobile manufacturers already offer petrol and diesel engine vehicles. How is this any different from a cannibalization perspective?

Its a bit presumptuous to say that Tesla is so different. Sure, they are attractive at the moment because of unique niche they are filling. If BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Lexus, Acura, etc all sold an all-electric vehicle with similar range, Tes

Didn't Google do the registration themselves last year?

The 45 minute sell out implies that people had 45 minutes to book. However, as we know, the site was slammed immediately and it took 45 minutes for Google to fall over itself trying to process. It was effectively sold out immediately.

Keep in mind, last year they changed the dates after the announcement.

What are the odds that Google can pull off an orderly registration this time? Considering prior years IO registration, and the recent Nexus 4 fun, I would say about nil.

I didn't see any email integration. Does that feature exist? Being able to have your interaction history (email, phone call notes, etc) for your clients in one place is important for many people.

I really don't think they care about this. This is the third time I have had this kind of experience with Google. Google IO 2011 and 2012 had the same sort of experience. I have had a phone in my shopping cart at least 5 times, only to ha
