"Open source developers have had to think on their toes and patch the programs that Microsoft has (often times) intentionally broken." This is definitely true for members of the Samba team, but open source development does not necessarily i

Since machine translation doesn't work well at the moment, I don't think it's interesting when an example fails to reach equilibrium. I'm not sure what your point is here. Additionally, I'm not sure your example, "i am a boy but not a girl"

A recent story that agrees with you: http://gadgets.boingboing.net/2009/08/03/arrington-loses-lib... While it would be more mediagenic if Arrington had to fork over some cash, I think jurisdiction is separate from the issue of who the cou

Sure it's funny, but it could be useful. If we take a list of all found equilibrium expressions and have a human translator eliminate the ones that have different meanings in the source and destination languages, we'll have a list of phrase

I agree. Any suggestion for a 90% tax bracket for anyone making more than the (above board) income of a civil servant cannot be taken seriously. I wish he had written this naked insanity at the top of the page so I didn't waste my time read

It's painfully slow, and I ran into some glitches (ctrl v outputting only first letter). pretty fun, anyway. what about different (random) colors for different users, and a fade over time so older words decay?

What I'm hearing from these comments is that there is not enough product information for a technical audience. It's possible that you are marketing to a group that does not want the same product information as us, but it's not clear. Are yo

The EMH doesn't take in to account arbitrage risk ( http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=1292533 ) among other things. Bonus questions: Is it so inefficient that models based on EMH should be replaced? Is there a better assum
