I'm a Dutch person living in Spain and my British accent can make it super difficult for some Spaniards to understand me. I tend to have a lot of trouble understanding Greek English. This article lacks so much perspective, Europe is fi

I get the craziest recommendations from the YT algo. Some vinyl-only release a dude ripped with 687 views, 2 comments, and impossible to buy anywhere. I would never be able to find that stuff on my own.

This type of canned response is so repulsive, I imagine the only reason why it might be a good idea to send things like this is because it's less offensive than nothing and just as expensive.

There have been a couple attempts at this stuff in the past years. Every time people get a bit closer. So far timing issues and performance of compute intense operations have been the killer. Good luck!

Yes, I don't need to pay for my eBay purchases in Tesla stock. This conversion rate has a financial impact on a lot of people. But also you're right.

As someone who travels a bit I’ve got quite some food delivery and ride share apps on my phone. The marketing notifications are driving me crazy, I regularly miss relevant notifications because Grab, Uber, Uber Eats, Glovo, Bolt, and Cabify

This is probably obvious to anyone but there isn't anything "good" about this, I expected this to be something along the lines of a crypto donation to GiveDirectly but this is just a sick wannabe Blackmirror power play.

I think your second paragraph might be jumping the gun a bit but yes in my experience the Reddit algorithm also highlights the worst of humans. Also the "general" Reddit opinion on topics tends to skew super pseudo-intellectual an

If you really want to fix it, take the AoA connection course with someone close to you. It will probably be pretty tough, a lot of people drop out, but it sounds like exactly what you need. It's unreasonably effective and is heavy on t

This sounds like a very US minded view on EU. As an EU who has been to the US a couple of times I could write the exact same piece with the opposite conclusion. Housing is smaller but one doesn't live in a suburb, cars are more expensi

There are a lot of claims in this article about MIDI1.0 that are misleading at best, it makes it sound more limited & crude than it is. Still it's indeed very nice to see some improvements here, especially since some were transitio

One ridiculous example is Revolut. I'm nut sure but I think they change their UX/UI about once a month, it's so extremely frustrated that a banking app, which is just a tool, not for entertainment, has to be figured out again
