I'm curious: How are you supposed to use their card-sized module outside of the developer kit? Is the 400-pin connector something that's standardized? Also would you need to add your own cooling here? The developer board looks lik

I've been developing for Android since 2007 and doing NDK development since that was available and I've seen my fair share of library trouble. I've learned that when Google "encourages" you to do something it's

There is absolutely a ton of stuff broken with Android, no doubt about it, and I don't want to sound schoolmasterly but in this case it looks like a RTFM. From the Android NDK docs [1]: You must specify an ABI for each CPU architectur

There is a lot of truth in this essay but readers should know how to interpret it. When PG assumes stable revenue growth for "the last several months", even just revenue at all, for a startup that's been operating for not eve

I could not agree more with this article. Human brains are hard-wired to infer 3D structure from shading. Taking away shading means taking away 3D structure, means taking away one of the most important visual cues there is to help humans gr

What I don't understand is how in the US in the 1920s the tax rate was in the single digits while deficit was negative (!) and debt was low [1], while today tax rates are at 40%, deficit is about 17% (!) of budget and debt is over 100%
