Hm, odd that you mention V0 as an example of deflation because at most gyms I've been to V0 is an example of grade /inflation/. In the Hueco V-scale, V0 is supposed to be equivalent to 5.10 in the Yosemite Decimal System. But

Free solo climbing -- climbing without the use of ropes for protection -- is a no-margin-for-error hobby. That's not the style of ascent being done by Caldwell and Jorgeson here though (it would essentially be suicide!). Free climbing

This is a Qt development (i.e. the development of Qt, not with) blog so for their regular audience the reasons for moc existing are probably already well known. It would be great if we could ditch moc. If you're using Qt without qmake

Having just gone through this for my Nexus 5 (defective GPS), you're wrong. - I was on a live-chat with a rep within minutes. - They shipped me a new Nexus 5 next-day air. - I made sure I had all my data off the old phone. -

This project was a pleasure to interact with -- definitely one of my highlights this year. Thanks! And thanks for the great write-up / open-sourcing. I think my favorite part was how they looked from far away -- the pulsing up the stem

OTOH Larry Page doesn't care at all about something as trivial as a widely-loved RSS reader while education is something he cares about deeply. Also, there is obviously a gigantic market there.

OTOH, now your LCD's gamma can't make the ads invisible. My guess is this change makes ads more recognizable because they say the word "ad" on them. I visited my family over the holidays and was shocked to see that the a

The problem comes when you start releasing from your branches. Then repositories diverge, different projects have different codebases with a common ancestor. Fixes don't get propagated everywhere, etc.
