As I see it, the world, and america in particular is worshipping the culture of the intellect to the extreme, forgetting other innate and arguably more important human qualities. As philosophers like Jacob Needleman have said before, there

Intrigued to see where this goes. It would be great if you could post status of the companies funded every 6 months or so.

I hear you. Although, I believe that's one of the loopholes that companies like Infosys exploits. They pay just above market average and they have a really high number of H1B employees, bordering on the limit. Also, market average fluc

That's a good point. It would obviously need to be a more complicated system. I think it would be good to prioritize companies like Google, Facebook and the likes but good, honest consulting companies shouldn't be excluded. Factor

Exactly! I haven't heard of any companies in this stage that loose a cofounder and then become successful. Until you get to product market fit, the company is worth pretty much nothing. If you want your cofounders to have at least a sh

The system needs to be revisited. I am a spanish citizen and I recently got my green card. 3 years ago, I got really lucky that my H1B got selected through the lottery. That said, that month waiting to know was really frustrating. You feel

I started a previous company on F-1. If you graduate from a STEM degree, you have 12 months of OPT + a 17 month extension (under review). So you have 2 years and a half to create something valuable enough so you can sponsor your H1B (which

I recommend reading The Future of Management by Gary Hamel. We have all adopted the dogma that hierarchical management is better without questioning it. Is it really? Companies like Whole Foods, W.L Gore, Valve or even Google are great exam
