What are the issues with indexes? I would argue that JSON(b) support is now production ready in Postgres 9.5+. You can read, write, update, delete, and it is fast.

I think it depends heavily on the audience. If you are talking to potential investors then discussing the long term vision of targeting the entire industry is a good thing. However in the short term, targeting a very specific segment of th

Variations of this have been tried and didn't go well including one serious attempt by me. I agree this should exist but it is very much an uphill battle. Email rpedela @ datalanche .com if you would like to discuss further. Good luck!

For me, using React makes it possible to write UI code like I am writing UI code for the desktop (e.g. .NET). When I first saw it my reaction was "Finally! I can stop pulling my hair out!". And the more I use it, the more I like i

As sigmaml said, Tika uses PDFBox. I would still recommend using PDFBox for text extraction until Tika updates to PDFBox 2.0. The biggest difference I have found with PDFBox 2.0 versus 1.x is that there are significantly fewer blank lines i

That isn't the case. If you are interested, I would suggest joining the Postgres hackers mailing list. Reading that will give a better picture of what is happening and who is doing the happening.

Yeah? I don't see the problem. Why does it matter how a web page is constructed? If it is fast, secure, and does what the user needs, what is the problem?

If you read the ES guide [1], it does a better job explaining how to use the DSL and gives better examples. I also recommend using a client API [2] if one is available for you. They are much easier to use than curl. 1. https://ww
