The summary for the 10-Q is surprisingly good! SEC filings are not formatted like news articles or books which most summarize algorithms seem to be trained on, at least the ones I have looked at, and do not perform well. Is the source code

Hierarchy != graph (although it can) There are always better tools but that doesn't mean that it is "wrong". For example, S3 is generally a better tool than Postgres for storing files but there are several legitimate use case

If your hierarchy exceeds 1GB then you need to break it up somehow into multiple fields, rows, or tables depending on the specific use case.

With JSON support complete in 9.5, wouldn't that be a great way to handle hierarchies? The only downside I can think of is the 1 GB field size limit.

If we are discussing tech hubs, then the surrounding area should be included such as Boulder, Broomfield, etc. Just like we should include Mountain View, Palo Alto, etc. Having lived in both places for ~4 years each, the density in the Denv

The bay area is quite dense. SF, Oakland, San Jose combined come close to the population of Chicago. Austin and Denver are much less dense than the bay area.

The employee has to pay for the shares and any taxes up front. In the very early stages, this is ideal because the shares are worth nothing. Eventually the shares are valued high enough that the upfront costs are prohibitive.

This completes the feature set for JSON document storage so you can now use Postgres instead of NoSQL solutions. However Postgres's replication story is still a little weak compared to other solutions.

So that is about $120k/year (salary + shares + bonus / 4), not $180k/year. The signing bonus is one-time and the shares are only worth that much if the stock continues to do well and they stay for 4 years. Most engineers in m

Cant speak for Babel, but the rest of it does not mirror my experience. I have had either no trouble or minor trouble upgrading Node versions. I always hard-code versions for dependencies, and then periodically upgrade which usually takes a

Using little types is fine, but I prefer to not use them nor do I recommend them. I have dealt with several large C/C++ codebases which used them extensively. It often took too much time to find the declaration to see the real type. Th
