Knowing locations of some major cities is useful, I agree. Knowing which of them are capitals isn't, especially of the US states where capital assignments are very random.

> If you think the only purpose of knowing the names of world cities Stop beating that strawman. I never said anything about knowing a city name. I was arguing about knowing what's the capital of what.

The article says he made 3-5 bitcoins.

by rorrr2 13y ago
The math doesn't add up. At "0.000133 bitcoins a day" it would take 7518 days (more than 20 years) to make one bitcoin. At "0.0004 bitcoins" per video it would take 2500 videos to watch to make one bitcoin. The amou

1) What does this have to do with knowing Paris is a capital? 2) What's the big deal? I'm sure most people don't know the capital of Mongolia or Canada or Switzerland or Slovenia or Croatia. And these aren't even African

I never understood how the knowledge of the capitals of states or countries is useful in any way. It's meaningless. It can be easily looked up, if you need that information. I can't even imagine a practical scenario when one would

by rorrr2 13y ago
Sure, when they figure out how to 1) keep hundreds of miles of tunnels in near vacuum 2) keep said tunnels intact in a seismic area 3) get all the land rights 4) all of the above at a reasonable price

Nope. How often do you need to scan a 3D model of anything? I'm sure it will be popular with the creative people. It's possible it will get popular in some niche markets, like real estate agents taking 3D shots of the apartments t

If these jobs are always available, that's exactly what it means. If your talking points were true, there would be no job postings in such numbers. In fact, there's a shortage of unskilled labor, particularly in farming, where the

Maybe you should randomize the order of IPs you scan, so you don't hit the same network at 100K requests/sec.

I think you're confusing interns and employees. I don't think banking interns make anywhere near $70-80K.

That's pretty lame. It just navigation and some text dumped into the body. I'm not 100% sure, but I think having <nav> outside of <body> is not up to HTML5 standards.
