Afaik AV wouldn't even protect against WannaCry until after its signature was already in the wild, when it was too late. But Windows update would've prevented the SMB hole by which it spread in networks.

You can get the same from other kinds of USB-C docks, not just proprietary Microsoft. Griffin makes magnetic USB-C cable if that's what you are looking for and possibly other producers will start.

United should've planned ahead for their staff to get to where they need without forcing somebody off the plane. They already knew how many tickets were sold, how many checked in and how many boarded (they were already on the plane).

They sort of do this already with iOS apps during development. iOS Simulator is a simulator, not an emulator so the developing app is compiled and run in native x86.

Exactly. And for even faster expansion, DMA, etc. there's Thunderbolt. You can easily (relatively) hook up external graphics card now.

It's definitely not a good idea to have a single or few storyboards but you can even link storyboards. In my personal opinion splitting into a storyboard per main feature/area is a good balance.
