I'm not really arguing for or against drawing any particular conclusions from this paper. I just think it's an interesting study that gives further insight into a subject that could probably benefit from many more studies like it

I tried out Fi when right when it came out, was pretty happy with it. fell on hard times, homeless here and there, so i paused my account because I was broke. I was able to unpause/repause my account every 6 months for a couple years

I was that person once. I was 12 and couldn't understand why MS-DOS disk maintenance tools shouldn't be used on PC-DOS because obviously repair tools can only fix things

I was only able to install Lands of Lore (1993) a few times before one of the disks crapped out on me. It's the one devastating floppy failure that I remember =)

yep, exactly. there's voltage negotiation up to 48v going on. though in practice probably not quite that high yet
