Can you point me to some blog/video that really lays out how all this is supposed to work. I don't necessarily mean the technical side but how a bitcoin world would look like.

Starlink will need a license to broadcast in the country. And the dishes also need to transmit which will give away your position.

Unless you're sick and in pain, in which case you'll be wishing for it. I also don't fear not existing. But I do fear the possibility of an afterlife.

Just because you enjoy crushing business rivals doesn't mean you also want kids to die young. I think Gates simply enjoys the challenge and the technical side of things.

IIRC the Foundation is supposed to close up shop 20 years after both of them die. I guess Bill is aware of the potential for abuse. They do not accept donations anyway. Between Gates and Buffet, they have all the resources they need.

I think Musk sees his tweet as "I have a possible buyer". Funding was secured in the sense that the potential buyer had the funds.

Not me. Tesla is already in a precarious position and I expect it to fold pretty soon if Musk departs. Either that or they massively scale back their operations - in which case I will have no further interest in the company.

Tesla's goal was to accelerate EV adoption. They either succeed or they die. I don't think they have any interest in being some niche luxury electric car manufacturer.

Not sure that is applicable here. His advice is basically to minimize potential regret. A variation of "better to try and fail than never try at all".
