Instapaper is definitely the number 1 reason I use Twitter as my primary news source - and the integration to the Twitter iPhone app is perfect. Seems like a perfect potential acquisition.

Many VC funds have 1-2 years they can tack on in addition to the 10-year life in cases where one or more of their investments have not exited. That said, it's not the return multiple that matters for VCs, it's the IRR (i.e. time is a factor

Not saying I disagree, but check out VoiceCentral Black Swan. It's a web app that links to Google Voice, but very much feels like a native app. Much better than the Google website.

FCC still hasn't approved the purchase. I'm hard-pressed to see any anti-trust issues now, but imagine if it got blocked? It will be tough to compete with iAd.

I second that - 2/3 through and have a hard time putting it down. It's written in a way that outsiders can understand the hour-by-hour details of the crisis. While some of his opinions are clear, it seems mostly objective.

Or use an eye-fi card so it wirelessly uploads all photos (hopefully, i.e. if there's a standard/open network nearby). Disclaimer- portfolio company

While that is relevant for you and me, I'm guessing for the vast majority of phone users, this is meaningless. The average phone user does not download apps outside the app store. I would argue the same folks who do download outside the a
