Apologies, I'm not sure if you are disagreeing with me in any way or not. :) Envoy is indeed open source and freely-available for corporations to use. That is not what I was implying. Amazon, out of all the big companies (Google, Netfl

At one point, there was an API available via the IBM Cloud that you could use in order to ask Watson questions. I've rarely been that underwhelmed. After using that, I realized that Watson was mostly a gimmick.

Surprisingly, or maybe not, IBM is the company that has been producing the largest amount of patents per year by a huge margin. In 2017 they managed to get around 9000, about 25 per day. I used to work at IBM and having your name on patents

I don't have a lot of data points, but comparing the Dutch railway system to the one in the UK, there is a very clear winner. The trains in the Netherlands have a fixed price and are rarely delayed or cancelled. Also, the OV-chipkaart

Your attitude is not one of desire to understand, but rather of desire to dispute. Someone that comes across as you do can rarely be budged, so I won't waste a lot of effort. First of all, the archetypal psychedelic (e.g. mushrooms, LS

It's astonising to see what lengths people will go to in order to dispute something they simply don't comprehend because of pre-existing bias. It's a bit like trying to explain what being in love is like or what you feel when

I worked at Booking.com for a while, though never in Perl directly. Take this with the grain of salt of any personal anecdote on the Internet, but I can definitely say that Perl is not loved there. Most people hated it deeply, some of them

I noticed that if I slow down and press left or right deliberately, after thinking about it, I win. If I do it really rapidly, the algorithms gets to 60-70%.

I am perpetually amazed by how often people feel the need to put a label on something, even if that doesn't _really_ matter. As far as I have noticed, the self-made "myth" is mainly a media trick. For some reason (maybe intri

That's not quite right. What was promised in the beginning was a pretty friendly break-up, i.e. a "soft Brexit". The chunk of population that wants Brexit at all costs is very small.
