If something can't be resold they save money by not having to deal with the return you make. That kind of situation is a tough call, in theory they could simply not offer you anything, in practise they don't want to lose customers

A lot of stuff is fine though and you will probably get it in similar time to Amazon standard shipping. It would be hard if they let you search by say < 3 business days, < 5 business days in the same way they let you search prime only

I wonder if it makes any sense for Alibaba to buy Yahoo. Primarily buying back the shares but could also refocus yahoo more around ecommerce.

The office environment in the picture looks terrible. Not only is it open plan but there seems to be barely enough room to setup a couple of screens and a laptop.

I would be surprised if a well constructed 2 hour test wasn't able to give you enough information on their structure and approach. 4-6 hours probably results in the candidate filling in a lot of basic details to get something to actual

Yeah I do wonder what you are getting out of not doing this. If they were to somehow cheat (get someone else to do it) this would be picked up very quickly on the job and waste everyone's time including their own.

I am also much more happy with an answer along the lines of "it has no practical use currently but is interesting because of...." than no answer at all.

This isn't the same though as handing out jobs to minirities that they wouldn't have got on merit though. This is attempting to encourage a larger group to get into the field in the first place.

There is definitely a split, one of our newer accounts has a new interface but the older ones don't. Not sure if it is age or location causing it.

A large part of our business is built on product listing ads and Google shopping. Regular people have no problem clicking on ads, the ads actually usually provide a much clearer path to buying they product than organic results. In a lot of

Until tech ecosystems outside the area are comparable there will probably always be waves of new people willing to give it a try to counter those moving somewhere more affordable.

Probably because so much content has a specific deal for France but never did a deal for somewhere like Guiana. So I guess to get the best content you are better off in a bad market for top international TV and movies.

Comparatively in terms of size of the commitment you example would be more like an accountant telling Google that they could make big savings if they moved 10k employees across to a tax haven. A better comparison for what is happening would

Sending something from China to Australia is far cheaper than sending stuff a few suburbs across. Wouldn't surprised me if Australia started refusing to deliver to the door as well. Our local parcels are subsidizing the Chinese imports

From my experience I'd be surprised if a legitimate business that had proper checks for fraud and delivered their service as advertised ended up getting a high enough rate of charge backs to lose their account.
