Odd that it doesn't mention probably the most interesting and usable decentralised exchange: https://bisq.network I do understand the point about UX; I wouldn't exactly describe Bisq's interface as "pretty&qu

I've been learning the [Workman]( https://workmanlayout.org/ ) layout in the past few months. I'm using a split Ergodox board, and Dvorak didn't make much sense to me for what I wanted to do. Colemak was _almos

It's both similar and different in many ways :) But I think adding support for it alongside IPFS wouldn't be too much of a pain, as superficially they work in somewhat similar ways. Primarily Dat is targeted towards sharing/s

Any plans to support Dat in the future too? I've had a bunch of distributed projects in mind recently, and I've still not decided which platform to start experimenting with properly, but Dat is definitely one of the other interest

I finally found a wonderful performance video of a player on the Uilleann pipes that I saved ages ago! It's unfortunately on Facebook, but this is beautiful playing (particularly on the regulators): https://www.facebook.com&

Interesting to see this pop up here. I play a lot of traditional music, and one thing I'm more exposed to than most people is variations in bagpipes. The Highland Bagpipes of Scotland are a bit of an anomaly; Scotland obviously has a g

I've been using WireGuard on my router for the last 6 months, and it's fantastic. I get the full speed of my line through it, when OpenVPN was only giving me 20%. Because of the great plugin they have for Vyatta I'm going to

Well to be fair this is really the target market for those sorts of posts and discussions. Equally the same could be said of the Firefox blog post I guess, that it was intended only for other branding people, and that by posting it here it

Haha, that might have been a bit of a generalisation. Unless the person is socially inept (which, to be fair, isn't uncommon in this industry), I think you eventually realise that nobody is interested in what you are interested in. I j

I would also recommend that if you want to find a way into enjoying Shakespeare again after it was most likely ruined for you in school, to watch the comedy Upstart Crow, made by the BBC. It's a good-humoured jab at Shakespeare's

I do really wish more Shakespeare was performed in an original accent, as there's an awful lot of rhymes and jokes that don't work in modern pronunciation. Like "hour to hour" being pronounced like "whore to whore&q
