That 0.4% chance is not random though - it's heavily weighted toward 18-29 year olds with severe existing co-morbidities, extremely high BMI's, etc. For an otherwise healthy 18-29 year old, it appears that the risks from taking th

So... you totally avoided the question. I wasn't asking about mask mandates, or who their leader has surrounded (or not surrounded) himself with. I was asking about anti-vaccine components of their platform. Can you point me toward an

Can you point me to the specific sections of the PPC platform that are anti-vaxx? Are you sure you're not conflating anti-vaccine-passport with anti-vaccine?

Only thing you forgot is Dr. Tam's Oct 2 Tweet: "Our goal for #COVID19 response remains to minimise severe illness and deaths. But this kick at the curve is a bit different. With schools and businesses open, everyone’s efforts are

This reads as the equivalent of an ad hominem argument - why not address your concerns with the merits of what was said, rather than just dismiss it as propaganda?

This is just an idea, but I suspect taking the tax benefit of writing the investment off in Year 1, compared to blocking the sale and getting a 1x return (maybe) in 2-3 years (or more), actually has a negligible effect on the fund's IR

Why would there be outrage? There is $130b+ in PPP remaining for small businesses and it's incredibly easy to apply now.

I think it's helpful to follow the money. If it goes to salaries, those salaries are taxed (both payroll taxes for the employer and income taxes for the employee). Those salaries, for the most part, get spent - on things with sales tax

There's a comparable program in Canada where the government covers up to $750/week in wages - essentially $40k/year - from March to August depending on your revenues. Feels a little better than the $100k cap (although probab

Moved back two years ago and can echo this sentiment. We raised our most recently round exclusively in the US. Will be interesting to see how COVID-19 impacts all of this given how much more remote work will be available.
