This has been going on for decades, it's called GWAS [1] and it has had a few successes but basically hasn't worked as well as everyone hoped it would in the 90s. The reason it doesn't work that well is that the human genome

I think this case blew-up because the Saudi's were caught red-handed. Erdowan realized he could put extreme pressure on the Saudi's because his evidence was so strong. I think you're probably right that this sort of thing h

How could they not-even mention which gene is mutated? I'm a biologist and it was the only piece of info I wanted. The video even asks if you know anyone with this gene mutation, but doesn't say what the mutation is.

Pinker’s “Better Angels of our Nature” is a masterwork on the subject. It’s also a terrific read and will change your view of history and make you happy to be alive in the present! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_B

You are simply wrong on this. It costs hundreds of millions of dollars to develop a new drug, prior to approval and marketing. What percent of a companies budget is spend on marketing versus R&D at a given time is kind of irrelevant

Good points, but I totally disagree about the suburbs. We live on a quiet cul de sac in a very suburban neighborhood. We’re 20 minutes from mountains, trails, beach, schools, stores, and work. It’s safe and friendly and our kids play with
