I hated sonic but the latest release seems to have improved much. Build a small rust project from scratch, it was fast an very accurate. Interestingly enough it had some endless loop issue when creating a .gitignore file (using Opencode).

LIR and resource fees at RIPE are too damn high compared to ARIN. Europe is hurting itself by punishing small entities.

I was very, very skeptic. Then a couple of weeks ago I started with Atlassian's Rovo Dev CLI (Sonnet 4) and immediately managed to build and finish a couple of projects. I learned a lot and for sure having experience, decide on stack a

Any plans to add multipath/failover-bonding support? e.g. mobile streaming unit connected with several 5G modems. Some people use a modified SRT to send H.265 over multiple links.

Downside is that you have to provide root/admin access to copy the key material and also to restart the services. A big no-no for me, even in my homelab.

I'm running smallstep CA in my homelab. While it's nicely done and clearly focuses to the containerized enterprise market, its defaults are very harsh. Take for example the maximum certificate duration. While from a production

There are cheaper ones but as noted above, most devices are not real 4K or poor quality and "unbranded". You should be able to convert USB-A to USB-C.

To be honest, as an IT professional you should have basic knowledge about firewalls. nft/nftables is a big improvement in firewall usability for Linux, I also know many homelab people using OPNSense or even DD-WRT for that job. I prefe

You are. I'm tunneling a /23 which I let Vultr announce via BGP over WireGuard to a local router VM. I have a nftables firewall in place before routing the traffic through the tunnel. I block everything except for exposed IPs and

A homelab with an useable uplink can be sufficient for many services like blog,DNS, mail. I have 3 Lenovo ThinkCentre Mini PCs running Proxmox VE in HA mode off my basement. Picture at https://devops.science/
