These are always fun to watch. Here's one of Apple's versions if you're curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bjve67p33E Microsoft still maintains its "home of the future". I think they update i

Google really asks for proof of real name if a single person reports you? I would imagine it only happens if a "ton" of people report you.

I went to a school that was Mac heavy and I remember most of my school peeps really disliking the mouse since it made it harder to do things that they already knew how to do on Windows. Design is great and all, but when you nerf what is

Reminds me of this from a few years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nu-nlQqFCKg I feel like they should merge the two. The subtitles are a nice touch, but if it could capture the voice of the speaker it would be truly

One of the cars my parents had when I was growing up was a VW Eurovan. The seat configuration in the car was a 'sofa' (fits 3) facing forwards and then 2 seats facing the sofa. On the left hand side of the car was a foldable table

Perhaps the quote was going for build quality, which the Surface RT did well in. I agree though that the processor speed + software failed it :( Windows improvements + cpu improvements in Surface 2 make the experience much, much nicer. No l

I read speculation on another site that said that perhaps Wacom refused to partner with Surface Pro 3 because that device was more similar to devices that Wacom themselves make. I'm actually not familiar with this area at all, but I gu

I have no idea but is it not possible to turn off Secure Boot on a surface pro and install Linux on it? If you can even get that far though, I could see the touch cover not working without some sort of driver that only exists for Windows..?

People slam Microsoft culture, and while I haven't been at the company long enough to really be a good judge, one of the qualities I love about it is the tenacity that people have here. We don't just give up on things immediately.

So you can't "send as SMS" in between the iMessage having been sent but before it's been delivered?

I had always assumed it just came from the fact that something is literally logging the fact that you have logged in/signed in/starting using the service/whatever. Always seemed rational enough to me!

I just installed this. How do I know when a comment is new? I just looked at a few threads i hadn't opened before and I was expecting all of them to have the "new" UI element but they all looked normal (other than the new UI

Are those free 100 gigs permanent or only for X amount of time? Microsoft has a similar program when you get a Surface 2, but the extra space only lasts for 2 years :\

I love this! I'm a Sk-er..OneDrive user though...any chance that a) they have APIs that serve your needs and b) you have time to do the work to support OneDrive?

For what it's worth...the read/unread sync state has been fixed recently in the last few months. With that also came the ability to IM someone who is offline and have them be able to read the IM even if when they come back online,

It's somewhat expensive at first sight for an individual, but it's a pretty phenomenal pricing for a family. Lets you buy 1 "license" and it works on up to 5 Macs/PCs and 5 mobile devices/tablets. 2 parents + 3

I didn't know this but I'm not outraged. How is this different in your view from targeted ads in gmail? You say "I don't mind having ads be presented to me from past traffic" ... why? How does that offend you less?
