Good idea, but I'd like to have some more info about what you actually do and how you do it (and what information we need to provide for you). Also, how secure are you? How do you secure my information, where do you store it? Will you use m

Yes, the change is live (rolling out slowly through the day). A ton of large sites have already been affected. It's a pretty big change.

While that's true, that might change and Sharesquare is betting on that. It's still too early to tell where this market might end up (in the US). In Japan it's as common as putting your website on an ad or business card.

Why are you even thinking about this? Move on. There's not much upside to you telling them (they might know, they might not care, hurt you down the line). Either way, why are you even thinking about this? This is wasted time you could have

First, good luck and hope you do well. My startup Socialblaze is in the social/analytics space, and it looks like you're entering this space as well. Good luck! It's a fun space to be in (and moving very fast). Here's a few things I think y

We're using Azure heavily for Socialblaze. At first this seemed great, but for us to even consider switching we would need to know a few things: - How backups work - How does well does it scale - How is the MsSQL organized, shared db with t

I've noticed that too - but it only happens on some profiles. I think it has to do with the privacy settings of the user (which were possibly just ignored before).

Also, wanted to mention that I think your main issue is going to be the behavioral change that your site requires. Users aren't used to making decisions by using a Swayable. With new users that you acquire, the product might be awesome at f

FYI: Your RAM usage is not 150MB, that's only for the main process. Each tab is it's own process and has it's own RAM utilization as well as CPU utilization.

What city are you in? If you're in LA I know some good recruiters that recruit for startups. In general, I would suggest reaching out to users of local meetups, niche job boards like 37signals, and recruiters that have a good reputation.

If you’re building a B2B app to manage payroll, “Cloud hosted SaaS payroll for your business” is not a good headline. “Spend less time worrying about payroll” is a better one. “Cut payroll management costs by 37% instantly” is even better.

FogBugz has a Startup plan that is free for 2 users. And like other users said, why not pay for good software? If it saves each employee $30 of time, or makes each of our team $30 more productive, than it's worth it.
