ZachMorris, the Same thing happened to me. Almost identical. Except have not really been cured. Agree 100% with what you wrote. What was your protocol to heal? I need some pointers as nothing has really helped. Thanks in advance.

This hit me in the gut. Especially the part where he describes the work (the work previously 'loved') feeling like an intrusion. How does it get to this and how to avoid it. Newport suggests it's a lack of knowing what we act

Great idea. Got me to thinking...someone has to have done this. I found a couple of examples: for iphones: Airr (bookmark moments and includes transcripts) https://apps.apple.com/us/app/airr-audio-conversations

At least it would be straightforward to implement. Sigh. I miss the old web. It was messier, but it was a bunch of people doing very cool things and was damned inspiring. It felt like anything was possible.

This is great when you can access the book. Great for info I don't want in my head. There is a cost to this however. I feel like the brain has a few slots for temporary into. And those slots are also needed for problem solving(holding

Train the recall neural pathways for the scenario you envision needing the info. Active recall at intervals. This is the only thing that really works for me. What I have not automated is creating active recall scripts as I go....it tends to

$25 seems to be appropriate for this type of a program. And if I ended up using it a lot, I'd hope for upgrades and would be happy to pay for them. What I don't want is to bleed cash. That is a negative feature. Can't tell yo

Yup - was 100% excited and was going to buy it until I saw it's a subscription. Now 100% not excited and not gonna go there. It just never works out for me to be worthwhile. Sorry.

Hmm. Following on that thought, globally, controlling our environment on a global scale seems to have resulted in a total loss of control of the environment.

thevagarant - thank you so much. This is a very detailed strategy plan. I can see so many places I work against myself here. I think the main one is hoping that the things that draw too much energy do not. Like over investing in work. Also

Rubicon - wondering if you can recommend any readings, links or books on energy management. What you described is the crux of my life limitations. When I have energy, I can do almost anything...and when I have no energy...can't do much
