They were candidates for SVP in 2021, with Ternus being selected. Tang left in 2024. Ternus was named CEO in 2026. Seems a stretch to say they competed for the role of CEO.

What do you mean by same area? Canada has millions of sq km of forest. Lytton is 700km west of Jasper, which is 2000km west of Thunder Bay.

Widely known where? Tang was never mentioned as a candidate in anything I read over the past few years. He wasn't an SVP.

There are many parts of Canada under no fire restrictions at the moment. Accidental or even negligent does not automatically mean arson. Jumping to that conclusion is silly.

Ffs, just the dumbest comments in this thread. Jumping from “caused by man” to arson is weapons grade stupidity.

My recollection of the mid-2000s is that Nokia simply had no idea how to be a platform provider. They had 2 or 3 main operating systems, but within each of those there were numerous different versions. Most handsets didn't get updated,

It seems like there are contradictory rules, and FIFA is confused about which to apply. 5 days ago, FIFA said there was no appeal process. Yesterday, there was a magic reversal.

Doesn't seem fair that Belgium has to alter their game plan the day before the match because FIFA dropped a totally unexpected decision 4 days after unequivocally stating there was no appeal process for the red card suspension.

The judicial branch has a set of laws, a system of appeals, etc. Perfect? No. But decidedly better than an incurious buffoon arbitrarily handing out get of jail cards in exchange for political gain and/or self-enrichment.
