Nice. Framework is super exciting, but I hope they release more cad files for the laptop so third parties can make e.g. keyboards and motherboards. Would be a bummer if their business model is lock-in on everything but the expansion cards.

One thing that I noticed that we tend to not like in OpenBSD ports is that -Werror was in every compiler invocation line. That had to go. Googling “openbsd werror” doesn’t show anything, why is this?

Hm, minimum OS scheduler timestep is usually around 1000hz, right? How do gaming mice go above that? I’ve seen up to 8000hz..

My intuition is that working in VR will be a poor experience until all of the font rendering is somehow pushed forward to the headset to do subpixel rendering..

No compression of json docs. Jsonb is even bigger than json text column. There’s an extension out there but it requires manual compression passes and doesn’t allow indexing. Might as well use SQLite
