Told my sis to put on her most raggedy clothes you can still wear. I put on some threadbare shorts, some worn sandals, and a t-shirt with the collar fraying. Then we went car shopping. 3k off a used car's listed price for her, lol.

Seriously - I'm creating resources, connecting them together, gathering data on performance, adjusting sizes, bandwidths, re-engineering components that are degrading or insufficient for their purpose, etc. etc. etc. Yeah i'm pro

Because most tools don't show them so it's useless. Users don't know what a character even is if they can't type and see it.

I use CSV (really tsv) because big data tools can open them extremely easily, because they're human readable, and because they're easy for my software stack to parse and use. I do most of my data processing for local consumption

I went to research....you're right, it's actually pretty unclear. Base is 3.7 but it doesn't say the specs on the 4.7 turbo.

You can now get a 6 core 4.7Ghz processor in a laptop. I'd say that's a hell of an improvement over 3Ghz.

Ditto. I was able to get my foot in the door of industry due to this course and Scott Allen's PluralSight C# courses. I've now built 2 data warehouses and helped with maintenance on another. It's not my main focus, but it&#

Even in Atlanta, we're seeing pretty insane rent increases. It's hard to find anything under 1000. I pay just a tiny bit less than that just to rent a room in someone's house.

We could, but food is basically a defining characteristic of human culture. Food comes in such an amazingly varied myriad of flavors, textures, temperatures, methods, spices, etc. I think at this point we've evolved such that for som

Yeah. It's basically dead lift with the weight shifted along your mid-line instead of in front of your shins. Makes it really easy to keep good form since you're not worried about getting it over your knees. I find the grip is

I love leg press, it's my second favorite lift next to deadlift (with a hex bar, I'm not competitive or anything, no need to risk the back). You have to be VERY careful not to lockout. I always end at like a 140-160 degree angle

Do you have any controversial opinions? Have you ever worked for any governments? How about any weapons or other military contractor companies? Critical IT infrastructure? Could be a number of reason's you're targeted.

We used Computer Organization and Design in college. Great book, did well in the class, felt I had a grasp of the material. But man, 6 months out and I retained nearly nothing. It's just so esoteric and not very relevant to my every

I disagree with a few caveat - you need to go with the Interface Per Operation pattern, use a builder, and provide many parameters to your methods. You're guiding your user through the object building pipeline, so bonus points if you

Been dealing with these things over the winter. I'm both glad and creeped out by having read this now. I have a method to kill them that works and doesn't smell, but is quite annoying - I shoot them with my salt gun a few times.

I actually have my laptop at work and desktop at home set to UTC. I eat lunch at 17:00. I go to sleep at 04:00. Not too difficult, just do it.
