Maybe I misunderstand but how can being forced to move your wrist cause strain? Your wrist moves all the time in day to day activities. If anything I would think keeping your wrist in the same position too long would cause strain, especiall

I'm curious to know how others deal with meaning in the context of their jobs. I certainly live for things outside of work, but at the same time work is a necessity to survive. How do you balance how much time you devote to work when y

Why is there no hope for this world? Less people using C/C++ just means less security vulnerabilities as far as I can tell. Not entirely sure why C# is listed but not Java here.

I'm in a similar position. Also 24, and didn't finish college. I haven't had trouble getting jobs, but I still have to answer the "So why didn't you finish school" question no matter where I apply. I ended up j

I'd bet my money against Amazon following. Amazon already lags behind the rest of the industry in terms of benefits. Employee happiness isn't really one of their values. "Frugality" on the other hand, is. Just an opinion

Excuse me if I just don't fully comprehend your argument, but isn't FOSS an orthogonal issue to this? After all, even if software is open source, that doesn't stop it from mining your data. You just know that they are doing s

Using delivery cars would cause a lot of traffic in densely populated areas. Cars are presumably also more expensive than drones. On the other hand, I suppose a car could do more than one delivery at a time whereas a drone would be more lim

Is CS really more focused on hardware? In my experience that hasn't been the case or at least a key distinction. I've found CS has more focus on theory and algorithms where SE is more about dealing with code base complexity.
