https://DiscoFlip.com is what I published most recently (planning to do a Show:HN next week after couple bugs are ironed out). The other ones have been taken down over time.

That sounds like a giant corporation compared to my many side gigs over the years. I love the development phase because it is something I control. Once the product is developed it also hits it's grave at the same time. Because I don&#x

The website doesn't load. I was curious to see it in action. From what is described in the comments it sounds similar to my covid side project https://discoflip.com (not quiet ready yet, but if you had any words of advice i

When I came across this post couple weeks back, my attempt at a solution to the problem was not ready. It is still not "ready" but I'm sharing it for feedback here: https://discoflip.com

The website is fantastic. Did you use a template to create it? Is it using some platform for checkout? I would love to know. Also if you can share the process of publishing a book like this end-to-end (writing, publishing, hosting, marketin

Then why include the cable? Apple sells them, everyone else sells them. You are missing the point here. A better solution is to put something like this in the box: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B079LYHNSR/

Not just non-iPhone users. I have been on iPhone since it first came out. Last upgrade was 2.3 yrs ago. All the wall warts I have from past iPhones are USB-A.

That is how you dent the "premium" perception you have built over several decades. You don't want your users buying $1500 phones and then having to search the web for solutions and pick up $5 converters off Amazon. You could

I feel we need to talk about the charger. It is not included in the box. The reasoning is that we have our chargers from previous iPhones. But those white boxes all take USB-A. The included cable is USB-C. Never mind, I will just use the US

But you can't plug that into the iPhone. Because the phone has lightning port. And the other end of the included cable is USC-C male. And all previous adaptors (the white box that goes on the wall) are USA-A. So yeah... no cookie.

You are not wrong. But your world view is a bit too simplistic. Real world is a messy place. Hence consumer protection is a thing.

I have employed “Jugaad” for multiple decades. And the comments here are correctly negative. Jugaad is what good people have to do to work a shit system. It leads to utterly unprofessional environments and is a tremendous drag on the overal
