I've been using 3 vertical screens side-by-side for years. Like web pages, source code is also long and (usually) not too wide. Being able to see that complete method / function without scrolling is invaluable to me. Square screen

Just this month we moved the installer creation step of our build pipeline to an on-premise mac mini in order to let install4j handle the signing & notarization (for windows, linux and mac).

To me signal is like the new charging standard or version control system to rule them all: I am now forced to juggle (n + 1) versions in my life. And no web client means I am forced to type on my mobile (ugh), and I cannot mitigate the hurt

The same system taught them that cheating is usually rewarded. Seems like un unnecessary harsh and vigilante way to try to correct the system single handedly. I would prefer a professor or school who transparently communicates anti-cheating

One of my dear colleagues a few years ago went on a tear and added interfaces to basically every single class he could lay his hands on. C/C++ header style I imagine. To this day I cannot easily follow code because any time I Ctrl+Clic

That is probably correct. I still do believe that being aware of my hunger feeling and learning to monitor it was the key to losing weight for me.

You are probably right. The acid is also not good for the teeth. But getting a grip on my weight is just way more important to me, in comparison.

I agree. I guess I just wanted to say that calorie counting was a kind of discipline I could not muster (like many), and that there might be simpler strategies which could work out for you. Still requires discipline.

I needed to simplify even more: Calorie counting doesn't work for me, I'm just not disciplined enough. I learned a shortcut, which might not work for others: I try to go a bit hungry. If I'm hungry, I'm in calorie defici

This could be never ending. But I'd like to say that factors like tax rate progression (higher tax if you earn more), marital state, children and location (where you live in Switzerland) have a huge impact on the overall tax burden.

So it‘s 2% Stripe fee plus 5% loginland fee = 7%? You repackage and resell Stripe’s payment service but tack on more than double their commission?

Your fee example seems either plain wrong or dishonest. If you use Stripe to handle payments, the fee of using your service must be higher than using Stripe directly. But you claim that Stripe would take 35c, but you only 25c.
