I've been using 3 vertical screens side-by-side for years. Like web pages, source code is also long and (usually) not too wide. Being able to see that complete method / function without scrolling is invaluable to me. Square screens would also suit me well, but they don't exist, sadly (apart from very expensive Eizo).My current resolution is 3x 1440 x 2560, so luckily I don't get mobile versions of web pages.
