Do you think VR will be more mainstream than AR? I tend to believe that once AR becomes really good it will be more mainstream than VR because it can integrate with your normal life and provide useful things like a HUD and also crazy cool t

This is exactly right. I've come across this theory of obsession on my own and I've been helping my wife find what she's obsessed with. She watches things on YouTube like makeup tutorials that are things I would have never th

This is awesome stuff. This is exactly the type of content I want to start creating (development blog, newsletters, etc). Do you think it's better to build your own blog site if you were starting now as opposed to using Medium or somet

Agree with the first two points, but do you really think "new developers" are the ones who are creating the "ideas/platforms/frameworks/etc/etc"?

Room service + daily cleanings + guaranteed TV in front of the bed is the best for vacations with my SO. Big group of friends = rent a huge house and have an awesome time. Your comment is spot on.

Unfortunately that's not what matters to Wall Street or VCs. They could arguably have scaled slower and made sure each market was profitable, but since everyone wants "growth over everything", they were forced to scale as qui

Resource hog != lag. The reason Chrome doesn't lag is probably due to the fact that it uses so much RAM. I personally use Safari because of the OS integration but for some sites I do have to fire up Chrome just for performance.

I switched recently to using Safari for all my browsing except when I need DevTools, then I just fire up a Chrome window. Only having one Chrome tab open instead of dozens seems to help performance and battery life on my MacBook as well.

That's not true, the 5000 add on was to be able to get the full self-driving when it comes out (which it hasn't yet). I have a Model 3 and I didn't opt in for the add on. You can always add it on later since it's just so

ETH is what you use to pay fees to the network to transact on it. i.e. if I want to transfer you some "tokens" on the Ethereum platform, I would have to pay a fee in ETH. This makes it a speculative investment, since if more peopl

Exactly right. And I made the jump and bought a USB-C monitor which plugs right into the MBP and charges and connects video in the same connector (which is awesome). Then I bought the USB C to Lightning cable, which fast charges my iPhone.
