Have you tried making any accounts online these days without a phone number? Good luck — there are extremely few services left that allow it due to “abuse” and other nonsense. My favorite case of this is that you used to be able to create a

Of course no country (aside from the US or China) can handle this alone, but that’s the point of the EU, a collection of countries. They’d much rather have America sink into debt than touch the sacred cow of EU social spending.

Stockpile euthanasia drugs? That’s not a reality almost anyone wants to live through.

Well, unfortunately, yes? The EU can fund and field a military if they so please. And with recent events, they might want to.

This is just about as likely as the EU switching from social safety net spending to actually being able to field a military that can defend their borders.

Maybe. It’s more like it’s what a kid’s parents do when kids can no longer be kids and are driven to start working on their college applications earlier and earlier. There’s more to life than getting into MIT.

While I agree that ever-increasing housing prices are almost the only platform both parties agree on, when there are already low interest rates and inflation occurring, the government is out of moves. Never say never. Markets revert to the

This is a great point -- where can we find some INDEPENDENT FACT CHECKERS that happen to have the same political bias as me to dispute the above? I'm extremely uncomfortable that people have different opinions here.

California is entirely funded by big tech. Of course they aren’t going to oppose them.

Should insurance companies also drop low income Americans with diets that trivially lead to heart disease? Shouldn't we, as a society, take care of those who don't know better?

As they should. The simple solution is to raise the costs to make freight delivery profitable through what is now apparently lawless California. Each Californian served by this route should have to pay a California surcharge to pay for insu

Reminds me a bit of the Jacob’s Ladder quote: “The only thing that burns in hell is the part of you that won't let go of your life: your memories, your attachments. They burn 'em all away. But they're not punishing you,'

Is it better to be overleveled or underleveled? Presumably, overleveling would increase your compensation at the risk of not being able to deliver and being washed out early.

Do any FAANGs have a reputation from being able to actually work 35 hours a week? Google is the only one that comes to mind. That certainly isn't widely true for Amazon or Facebook.
