The committee is still run by fossils carrying the misguided torch of endless backwards compatibility. No one is compiling 1980s C on GCC trunk releases, but by god we still need to make sure it compiles cleanly.

Useless semantic pedantry at best, but arguable wrong as there isn't some sort of ISO standard on dumb hacking terms.

The people who want a BMW to show the world they own a BMW are exactly who they are targeting with this. Same situation as Mercedes. Taking dumb money more or less.

You’re correct that the average American non-saver can afford less house with high interest rates. This would be good news for savers however.

If we’re poorer but I can actually afford to buy a house, sign me up. Low interest rates do nothing except turn every market into a casino. Place I wanted to retire to went from 800K, which is attainable, to 2.1 million in the last two year

That's just the culture of defcon/blackhat/"if you get any certs you're dumb". If you can program, you can learn almost any concept in security with self study and a handful of good books. Marketing posts, such

It’s weird how there’s been a massive uptick in security “threat researchers” blogging about hello world style malware in the past few years. On the plus side, malware reverse engineering is a tough job that traditionally didn’t pay that we
