This is very common throughout Southeast Asia. I did it multiple times recently but a few of us would always end up discussing how we would fare if we were in an accident

His point isn't about commas over periods, it is that "5000000" without any delimiters is hard to read.

And even more so in Tokyo Station. I used to live on 5th Ave and work on 10th. I would walk through the Manhattan Mall and Penn Station, coming out on 8th on the way to work every day. There really isn't much else like it in NYC unfort

There are multiple extensions that let you set your new tab screen to a blank page, or just a list of apps, or whatever you want.

I wouldn't worry so much. I'm sure self driving cars are going to save a lot more lives than they are going to end. Humans are terrible drivers, and the software will only get better.

Yeah, but if advertisers pay Brave knowing Brave pays viewers, then the advertisers know they are paying users at the end of the day.

I find myself caring less and less about ransomware on my laptop because everything is in the cloud. I wonder if that is exactly what they (insert evil cloud provider here) want me to think? (removes tinfoil hat)

Do you think advertisers are going to be that interested in paying the people looking at their ads? I just don't see how that will work in the long run.

There is so much in programming that isn't necessarily directly in line with English, why are trailing commas any different?

LINE is the biggest messaging app in many Asian countries, with roughly 400 million registered users and 215 monthly active users

Wow, TIL Amazon doesn't sell Apple TV or Chromecast, but instead immediately suggests their own competitors. For a company trying to replace all retail, that's pretty lame.

I think a lot of people like to post NOT in capitals, so they had to implement this. Things NOT to do if you are a developer. How NOT to apply for a job.

Excuse my ignorance, but could this work with Meteor?

I used to be against css preprocessors as well, but nesting is what eventually sold me. It just makes so much sense. My code isn't cluttered with tons of classes, and the css is far more readable.

Well my father worked 3rd shift when I was a kid, and he slept through the day time while I was at school. So, yes?

But, then people will just stay up later. I know that's what I did as I went through schools / jobs. My last job I could get there around 1030am (wake at 9:45~) so I would make sure to get to bed around 2am.
