Certainly we also need adults to exist? Kill off everyone over the age of 14 and humanity will come to a halt really quick...

The implication here is appeal to a wider audience _at the expense_ of the existing customer base, right? Otherwise it wouldn't be a tyranny at all. What I don't get is at some point the marginal user increase for a change has got

The fact that every webdev carries around/trades personal "reset" stylesheets to undo everything the browser does by default is insane. It really highlights the disconnect between W3C and reality.

Japan has been pushing for people to stand on both sides of the escalator. My dad thought it was due to unbalanced wear. I assumed single-file escalators were more efficient given that most people stand, they want to discourage walking, a

This is awesome! Is there any support beyond the wrist, or how resistive is it when you press the buttons? Have you considered 2 hands too? Do you feel like you've maxed out the number of comfortably reachable keys? I guess you can&

By 100+ comment discussion I assume you mean this HN post in its whole? People here aren't checking the facts, so the fact that only one person found an issue doesn't mean much.

I second the request. Sing the images spatially related to eachother would be really cool. Like: this room is only 2 nodes from this room. Or like, you see one node with a ton of links and wonder which room that is. The article itself sh

I didn't realize it was intentional! Though, I think Beowulf is notable to a significant degree for its historic context... I think the mention of daoist philosophy is interesting. Those works are very direct too, but I think (from a W

I think it's not quite simple though. For one, I think the opengl driver situation is complex, where I hear you need userland per-hardware libraries which basically require dynamic linking. From that perspective windows binaries are
